What The Avanti Bank Founder & CEO Thinks About Bitcoin & Blockchain
Caitlin Long is one of the smartest founders building around the Bitcoin and blockchain space. Alongside Elizabeth Stark and Sam Rad she also is probably one of the most important female founders in the sector as well. Long is the founder of Avanti Bank, one of the first crypto-native banks in the United States that is taking advantages of Wyoming’s favorable regulatory environment. Avanti recently raised $5 million from Pomp, Blockchain Capital, Morgan Creek Digital, DCG, and others. Prior to Avanti, she spent 22 years on Wall Street, including as a Managing Director at both Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse. She also Co-Founded the Wyoming Blockchain Coalition. Long is a strong believer in Bitcoin due to her first-principles belief in sound money and Austrian economics. Below are some of her views on Bitcoin specifically:
