If you’re like me, you used to watch VICE News Tonight on HBO. VICE News offered an amazing episode every week night covering the latest geopolitical events and offering deep dives with journalists in specific war zones or other areas “heating up” politically. The show was sadly cancelled but the concept of a daily news video service fills a void left in society due to the rise of smartphones and the decline of cable television.
