The Best Meme The Internet Has Ever Created

If you aren’t on Twitter and don’t consider yourself a Bitcoiner, then you may be unaware of the greatest meme the internet has ever created. Fear not, I shall guide you out from the rock you live under to an elevated status of being. “Money printer go BRRR” is an epic meme created to bring an understanding of the Federal Reserve, Bitcoin, Monetary Policy, Keynesianism, Austrian Economics, and Common Sense to the mainstream consciousness.
The original Money Printer Go Brrr clip featured what appears to be either a cardboard cutout or a superimposed image of Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell cranking out thousands of U.S. Dollars from a money printer. For the average person, this may actually not make sense at all. But it does start to get people asking important questions like:
- What is money?
- What is the Federal Reserve?
- Why is the U.S. Dollar valuable?
- How much money has the government printed?
- What happens if the dollar loses its value?
- What is Bitcoin?
In fact, millions of Americans got a taste of this when the legendary Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports began a series of videos attempting to become a day trader during the coronavirus pandemic.
In a recent video interview, Portnoy began to mock U.S. Dollars, the Federal Reserve, and the “rigged” stock market and economic system. {Listen at 3:24 in the video below}
