Samantha Radocchia begins her new book Bitcoin Pizza: The No Bullsh*t Guide to Blockchain with that powerful Einstein quote. Much of her own writing is equally thought provoking — frankly to a level I did not expect to find in a bitcoin/blockchain guide. If I can convince a single reader to grab a copy of this book, I promise it will at least challenge — if not change — your thinking.

Blockchain is the technical backbone of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In the coming digital revolution, blockchain is going to change your life, even if you have no idea what it is. And that’s the problem.

Overall, this book provides an excellent macro overview of the blockchain and cryptocurrency landscape (both technologically and historically) for beginners from a non-biased perspective that avoids the (quasi religious) tribalism the space is known for. While I myself tend to lean towards one of the tribes— and found a number of things in the book I hold different views on — I think any beginner crypto user will benefit greatly from grabbing a copy.
